Windows 系統管理工具
•Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools：這是任何 Windows 網路的系統管理者都不應該缺少的工具，裡面包含了超過 120 種的工具；儘管微軟並不對這些工具提供技術支援服務，但是這些工具對 Windows 伺服器的管理的確有相當大的幫助。
•Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 32-bit Support Tools：這是另一組管理 Windows 伺服器及網路的必備工具，原版的 Windows 伺服器光碟就包含了這項工具，而微軟網站則包含了最新版本。
•Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 Administration Tools Pack：這項工具能讓系統管理者將 Windows XP 電腦變成管理 Windows Server 2003 伺服器的專屬電腦；首要的步驟就是在 Windows XP 電腦安裝這項工具。此外，這項工具也有 Windows Server 2003 R2 版本。
•Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Manager for Windows XP：這個工具可以安裝在 Windows XP 電腦，讓系統管理者遠端管理 IIS 6。
•Microsoft Management Console 3.0 for Windows Server 2003：MMC 3.0 是 Windows Server 2003 R2 內建的功能，而這項工具可以將 Windows Server 2003 的 MMC 升級到 3.0 的版本。
•Group Policy Management Console with Service Pack 1：這是管理 Windows 群組原則的好工具，大幅改進了原本群組原則管理工具的不足。
•User Profile Hive Cleanup Service：這項工具能夠解決使用者階段非預期終止所造成的登錄機碼的問題，如果 AD 網路使用者登出網路的時間很慢，可以試著利用這項工具來解決。
•Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection software：Windows XP 的遠端桌面是一項非常棒的網路遠端連結功能，而利用這項工具，Windows 2000、Windows 95、Windows 98、Windows ME、Windows NT、Windows Server 2003 等 Windows 作業系統也都能有相同的遠端桌面功能。
•Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Performance Advisor：這項工具能協助系統管理者診斷並產生 Windows 伺服器執行效能瓶頸的報表，有助於系統管理者找出執行效能的問題。
•IIS 6.0 Resource Kit Tools：能輔助管理並強化 IIS 6 的工具組，其中包括從舊版 IIS 或 Apache 遷移到新版 IIS 等 14 個工具。
•Log Parser Version 2.2：Log Parser 是 Windows 系統的日誌檔解析查詢工具。雖然 IIS 6.0 Resource Kit Tools 內含 Log Parser，不過那是舊版的 2.1，Log Parser 已經有 2.2 的版本了。
•Active Directory Migration Tool v3.0：這項工具能簡化 Windows NT Server 4、Windows 2000 Server（甚至 Windows Server 2003）的網域升級到 Windows 2000 Server 或 Windows Server 2003 網域的工作。
•Microsoft File Server Migration Toolkit 1.0：這個工具組能輔助系統管理人員將 Windows NT Server 4、Windows 2000 Server（甚至 Windows Server 2003）的檔案伺服器遷移到 Windows Server 2003 或 Windows Storage Server 2003。

微軟網站提供了相當多的免費工具與文件，而且還在大量且急速的新增，這些資源對 IT 專業人員都相當有用，並且也都能免費下載（有些資源可能需要另外註冊才能下載，但註冊並不收費）。如果 IT 專業人員若能善用這些資源，對系統的管理和運作，都有莫大的幫助。
